Our Company

Working at De Schaapskooi is a celebration! De Schaapskooi is a dynamic hospitality business located in the rural environment of Delftse Hout. We focus on parties and events for groups starting from twenty people for both the corporate and private market. De Schaapskooi is open seven days a week and offers three unique rooms and a beautiful inner garden. At De Schaapskooi, it's all about the experience, atmosphere, coziness, and good food and drinks. The work is very varied, from a birthday to a wedding and from a baby shower to a dinner. The working atmosphere is informal and open. We encourage our employees to take responsibility and initiative.

Server staff | 8 – 24 hours

We ask:
  • You know how to get things done, both during preparation and at events themselves.
  • You also don't mind getting the rooms ready for a meeting.
  • You truly have the ability to put a smile on the faces of our guests! Hospitality is really in you!
  • You are motivated, eager to learn, and never back down from a challenge.
  • You are flexible, responsible, work enthusiastically, and have team spirit.
  • You are open to learning.
  • Available on Sundays.
  • Minimum age: 17 years.
  • Our busiest period is from April to November. Your commitment during this period is really important to us.

  • A contract based on a fixed number of hours, full-time or part-time. Flexible working hours in consultation, we accommodate your studies and sports.

Kitchen Assistant | 8 – 24 hours

We ask:
  • You know how to tackle tasks, both during preparation and at events themselves.
  • You also don’t mind getting the rooms ready for a meeting.
  • You are truly capable of putting a smile on our guests' faces! Hospitality really is in you!
  • You are motivated, eager to learn, and never back down from a task.
  • You are flexible, work enthusiastically, and have team spirit.

Self-employed Cook | 24 – 38 hours

As a self-employed cook, you will contribute to the execution of daily diverse kitchen tasks.

You are responsible for the mise-en-place and preparation of the dishes that are served. 

You work hygienically and ensure the quality of all dishes. Additionally, you take responsibility and can work independently.

You are also able to provide input on the composition of the menus, the menu card, and methods.

You take initiative, are stress-resistant, and come up with creative ideas.
